We buy in to ads all the time that if we just buy this gadget or the latest greatest software that things will be better and easier. When we do, it’s not, it’s worse! That’s because they don’t tell you the truth. It will make life better if you balance it all correctly. That’s the missing piece, balance!

A Kentucky based company that serves as the legal home of all our product offerings and adventures. Really boring business stuff that only a few people care about let alone have much interest in. We do have links to many of the businesses we have used over the years to help us with lots of business stuff that has come up. Most of which are covered on our podcast listed below. Because everyone has a podcast now.
A Family Homestead
Join us on our journey over the years from a small urban homestead to a small mountain homestead. We cover cooking, farm/garden type information as well as health topics for people who do not want to be on meds and visit the doctor every week. Most of the content is just life and while you may not learn much, you might learn a little. Watch as we try to simplify our world while we still exist in a complicated world. The videos are on youtube.com and rumble.com for your viewing pleasure and we often post articles and information to our blog that we cannot put on the channels. We also plan a news letter down the road.
Critters Unleased
This awesome sight is simply to all a relaxing view of animals doing, well animal stuff. We have live feed cameras on youtube.com as well as pictures of animals we see and are captured on the camera feeds. We encourage you to post pictures of your animals because we love animals like most of you. Coming down the road, you will be able to post short videos and link to other social media postings. Sometimes a good animal video or picture can make your day and it’s a simple way to remember you are not alone.
Dietzman Creations
We put this together for all the DIYers of the world like me. I love taking a pile of something and turning it into something awesome, most of the time. We cover building large and small projects as well as try and replicate things we see others do. Of course, we follow the rule of simple is better. We give a straightforward account of what it takes and any issue we had. Many of the items are available for purchase on our ecommerce site when completed in case you want one but are not ready to try and do it yourself.
Homestead Trader
This is how we pay for everything we do. Our ecommerce site allows you to purchase merchandise for all our projects as well as the things we make. We of course employ multiple revenue streams and don’t just rely on the site. You can find all of them in our links page. We provide simple high-quality products at reasonable prices. We discuss all the concepts in our podcast in case you are curious. We also love vintage items, and they can be found on our platforms as well. Many products made now are not as high quality and that’s why we hate to see good things thrown in the trash. Often time we don’t make any money on them, we are just happy to see them get used and not wasted.
Overyunder
This channel is nothing more than dashcam footage from our travels. It seemed like such a waste that I didn’t share all the beauty and wonder I see when we drive around to all the places we travel. Mostly short videos with no sound, ok some stock music when the mood suites me, with the occasional crazy driver clips. Can be fun, but mostly a relaxing view of the world. A simple change of pace now and again!
Dietzman Podcast
I talk about business issues such as accounting and taxes. A few times we will wander off on other items. It really comes down to what is the current thing on my mind as to what we talk about. I still try and keep it about business and making things simple and that can be entertaining to see me try and accomplish that.
